Sathi’s Ecole: A Journey Beyond Creativity
The world today is a demanding and competitive place where children are pushed and pulled to constantly excel in education, sports and other activities. Little minds are always at war, fueled by the generous encouragement of parents and guardians, to do better and to outperform others in a bid to enhance their achievements and to ensure their career development. However, are we as custodians of these little and beautiful hearts, in the right path? Are we not forgetting to instill some of the most crucial elements that makes a child an intelligent, sensitive, creative and thoughtful human being as they grow up and step into the world to carve a path of success on their own?
At Sathi’s Ecole we endeavor to do just that! We are an Art and Design Studio, dedicated for kids, journeying beyond the boundary of art to develop life skills and to instill essential qualities to nurture a creative child full of potential. Our goal is to nurture not just an artist but a child who is able to think creatively fortified with critical thinking, problem solving skills, confidence and self-contentment.
Importance of Nurturing Creativity
Art and design, though diverse in pursuit, are expressions born of human creativity, skill and imagination. Creativity, if promoted properly, has the power to evoke emotions and to lead a child to create, solve and discover things on his or her own. Creativity in itself is a path of discovery and each and every person is creative in their own way, exploring various mediums to express this creativity using sight, touch, smell and sound. However, with the busy schedules of today, many parents do not put much emphasis on the important and inherent role that art and design plays in the development of a child. There is now limited time for a child to explore and enjoy artistic activities, during school time as well as after school time.
As adults, it is our duty and responsibility to support a child’s innate nature for innovation so that they can use their creativity in all aspect of their lives as they develop physically, and most importantly, psychologically.
About the Courses
Each course is carefully and meticulously crafted with a child’s emotional and psychological development in mind. They are dedicated to identifying the inborn skills of a child while enhancing those skills with a focus on improving essential life skills. The structure of each course is built in a way to fill the gaps found in the common intuitional based education system so as to nurture a child with a holistic outlook.
All activities are designed to develop a child’s creative thinking and knowledge. The activities will also provide a child with the opportunity to explore and expand his or her knowledge on the various techniques and materials in art and design. In addition, the courses will boost a child’s confidence to explore his or her own creation as well.
Most importantly, at Sathi’s Ecole we devote our time to stay abreast of the latest developments in the fields of art, design and child education, moving forward with new R&D to improve a child’s psychology and life skills. Each and every course will also provide much enjoyment to the kids as they delve in to the world of art and design while widening their creative and artistic skills.
